How the K2 is made

4 main hull parts (i.e. sides & floor panels) are cold moulded to achieve a moulded gel coated finish on both sides, including a non-slip pattern on the floor panels.

All the other moulds – a further 10 – are laid up in the traditional fashion.

The hull sections are attached to the neoprene rubber hinge using special adhesives and a custom made jig.

Our sailing component suppliers include RWO, Jack Holt & Plastimo/Navimo. Our sails are made by Jeckells of Wroxham.
